The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulations needed a way to encourage former or out-of-state residents that now was a perfect time to move to South Dakota. Leveraging the warm feelings of the winter holidays, Insight Marketing Design developed a new Dakota Roots website, television, print and online ads that drove an unprecedented level of traffic to the state’s worker recruitment site.
“Stage Hands” started with sketches on a bar napkin and developed into the Sioux Empire Community Theatre’s theme for the 2011-12 Season. The first production of the season, Barefoot in the Park, included posters, direct mail, signage, email blasts and playbills. In addition, Insight created a non-traditional media campaign capitalizing on footprint cards scattered in downtown Sioux Falls.
