How do you explain celiac disease to a six-year-old? Marcia Schmitz and son Nick decided to write a book to help other kids understand celiac disease. The result was Nick and the Shrinking Inner Spaceship: a story about super scientist Nick and his journey to discover if his little brother Charlie has celiac disease, too. Doug Moss illustrated the book — and we created a website to help sell the books. If you know someone who follows a gluten free diet — this is a great book for them. And if you know a kid who likes adventure stories, this is a great book for them! One dollar from every book sold will be donated to the Celiac Disease Foundation.
