Insights:Girl Scouts embrace No Texting campaign

One of the best parts of my job is presenting new campaigns to appreciative clients. That’s what I got to do on Saturday afternoon in Aberdeen.

In front of nearly 200 members of the Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons Council, I introduced the No Texting campaign. The Dakota Horizons Council is at the forefront of this movement, and asked Insight to develop the campaign components that will launch later this spring. But it’s the Girl Scouts themselves who will be carrying the message to friends, family, and communities throughout North and South Dakota as part of their mission to make the world a better place. The media campaign will launch in August, but some pieces of the campaign will be released this month. Ask your favorite Girl Scout about No Texting While Driving.

I was also honored to have lunch with Tami Haug-Davis, CEO of the Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons Council, and Laurel Richie, Chief Marketing Officer at Girls Scouts USA.
