If you haven’t heard of the ALS Association’s Ice Bucket Challenge, then you’re probably frozen in a block of ice. It is everywhere and it seems like everyone is doing it. From your neighbor to today’s biggest celebrities. It’s a great cause and is providing millions of dollars for research and raising awareness for combating a little-known disease. Why should marketers feel they owe an extra debt? Because the Ice Bucket Challenge provides an amazing example of the value of truly involving your audience with your brand (or cause).
