Insight Cares Donations – Lorna Reimer

Our next $100 “Insight Cares” anniversary donation was selected by Account Coordinator Lorna Riemer and goes to CDH International.

“CDH or Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, is a birth defect that occurs when a baby’s diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal organs to enter the chest cavity and prevent lung growth. CDH occurs in approximately 1 in 2500 births, with over 1600 babies diagnosed each year in the United States alone. CDH has a personal meaning to me as friends of ours lost their sweet daughter, Rae due to complications from CDH not long after her birth.”
