The Nutshell
The South Dakota Department of Social Services combined three employment assistance services into one master program and asked us to create the new name and visual branding.

A motivated audience would respond better to “hand up” branding vs. “hand-out.”

The Work
After settling on a name that reflected the organization’s mission to connect people with meaningful careers, we developed high-energy visual brand elements to carry the mood and momentum. Messaging was resourceful, respectful, and made sure to put consumers first.
