Insights:Insight Cares Donations – Doug

Executive Creative Director Doug Moss finds value and appreciation in artistic expression and explains why he selected the Sioux Falls Arts Council to receive his $100 “Insight Cares” 18th anniversary donation.

“I truly appreciate what the fine arts bring to a city. The arts bring us joy, help us express our values and build bridges between cultures. When we are surrounded by art, our neighborhoods are strengthened socially, educationally and economically. The challenges for artists can seem overwhelming for some, but with the help of an organization like the Sioux Falls Arts Council they feel like they have an entire community in their corner. The SFAC’s mission is to “enrich Sioux Falls’ culture, economy and opportunity”. They do this in many ways, but most important to me is how they provide the resources to help creatives make performing, visual, literary and musical arts.”
