Insights:Marketing Insights: Insight’s founders judge AAF shows
Insight Marketing Design’s partners were honored to have been invited to judge two different 2017 American Advertising Awards shows this past weekend.
One of the biggest challenges in creating break-through advertising is the ability to identify work that will stand out and be effective.
American Advertising Awards judges are chosen for their proven track records of creative excellence and marketing successes.
The American Advertising Federation’s American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative awards show.
More than 40,000 entries are received at the local level each year and the winners of these shows advance to one of the 15 district competitions.
The winners from the district shows are then judged on a national level.
Last year, in addition to local and district awards, Insight Marketing Design received a national American Advertising Award.
Doug, along with judges from two other parts of the country, reviewed hundreds of traditional and digital entries to choose the very best creative work within that markets.
Candy Van Dam, Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, headed to Des Moines, Iowa, to watch countless broadcast entries, print ads, websites and digital marketing projects to determine the most creative work produced by the Des Moines marketing community.
The American Advertising Awards also includes a student category that recognizes creative excellence in the next generation of advertising professionals.
Doug and Candy are both committed to giving back to their local community and to the marketing industry.
Volunteering to judge these important award shows is just another way they give of their time and expertise to support and promote creative excellence.
As a reminder, Sioux Falls 2017 American Advertising Awards show will take place Friday, February 24.
