Are you a social butterfly? Social Media Specialist

The social media specialist defines, develops and executes online campaigns and strategies – both paid and organic – utilizing various social platforms. Because they’re managing many moving pieces for multiple clients and channels, they must be organized and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:

As the social media specialist, you will work closely with our digital team and account executives to define, develop and execute online campaigns utilizing various social platforms. Must have a strong understanding of current online marketing strategies and a desire to not only look at corresponding statistical data, but to analyze and make ongoing recommendations based upon it. 

The social media specialist will plan content calendars, write posts, and coordinate visual components to accompany posts and paid placements.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of current experience in social media marketing
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Excellent computer and customer service skills
  • Advertising agency experience is highly desirable
  • Able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a high-energy office
  • Social media certifications from Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter Flight School and other platforms a plus
